Psyche Feedback

This is the feedback that we received with regards to our film. I believe that the feedback was overall pretty decent and we also received a fair bit of constructive criticism about it. The audience mostly said that they liked the story line and the quick cuts between shots. However, we did receive a lot of criticism. We mostly heard that the lighting wasn't very good and because of this, it wasn't always clear what was going on. The feedback we got was very helpful to us, and we now know what we could've done differently.

Social Networking Feedback and Advertising

Today i made a page of the social networking site Facebook and invited a few people to it. The people were able to give us some feedback on the film whilst advertising it as well. Below are some screen shots of the Facebook group and the comments regarding the film and poster.

Script for Voice over

Today wrote up the script for the voice over that will be said by me. We have done this to add a sense of story to our film and to let the audience know what is going on. This will be done using garage band and a microphone to ensure that my voice is as loud and as clear as possible.

Psyche Radio Trailer

This is the radio trailer that we produced for our coursework. We did a lot of research into different radio trailers in order to find good ideas for out trailer. We used Garage Band for the construction of our trailer and i think that this worked really well. Garage band was relatively easy to use and get the hang of and i feel as though it was the best program for the job.

Introduction to Garage Band

Today we were introduced to garage band. We were using the software to try and get some final ides for our Radio Trailer. Below is some pictures of Me using Garageband and some screen shots from the work I was doing on garage Band.

Today we completed the script for the Radio trailer t advertise our film. this was done by Both me and Connor, however it will be said by Connor. We both decided that Connor would be best to sound the role as I will do the voice over for the film, and Connor has the perfect voice for this role.

Reflection of Work: For this piece of work, we both had to go and research for a soundtrack that could be used within our Radio Trailer. The piece above isn't actually what we did use, however it did help to give us ideas of what we could've of used. We eventually did choose a similar soundtrack but that would not of been possible if we hadn't done the research that we had.

Advertising the Poster

Today we were give the task of trying to advertise our poster in public place. I chose to put some copies of the poster on Bus Stops Around the area to let the public know about my Film. We chose to place our Film poster on a bus because it is a very common place for members of the public, especially our target audience, to meet. Hopefully this will be seen by different the demographics that we have directed our film at and therefore they watch the Film.

This is a sketch of the Poster that we had created. once we had finally come up with a suitable and relevant idea, we decided to sketch it out and then use it as a template for our final poster design.

Today we began researching different posters and illustrations for the ideas for our film poster. I found this very informative and it gave me many ideas that we could use for our film poster.

Second Draft of the Film

This piece of work is the first draft for the film. We haven't yet added any soundtrack or the narration which is the main part in the understanding of the film. This is the reason as to why it will be very difficult to understand now. however, once the narration and soundtrack is added, it should all become very clear.
